A key dissemination activity to spread excellence is through the media. This includes broadcasting (TV, Radio), news papers and popular books/brochures. It is an important aspect of engaging public debate and raising the profile of geological sequestration as an option in the array of technology choices required for a low carbon energy system. The objective of this activity is to provide the interface of the network with the media and be pro-active in encouraging the media to cover the topic of geological sequestration. Several network members are already involved in media activities.
